Privacy

This website sets no cookies and embeds no content from third-party servers. Fonts and all other files come from my own server, and so does the reach measurement (see below).

Visiting the website

When you open a page, my server processes the technically necessary data: IP address, time, requested address, status code, amount of data transferred, the previously visited page and your browser's identifier. I need them to deliver the page and to detect attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is operating the site securely. The logs are deleted once they are no longer needed for this purpose.

Reach measurement with Umami

To see which pages are visited how often, I use the open-source software Umami on my own server; the data is not passed to third parties. Umami sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses.

It records the address and title of the page, the previously visited page, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and the approximate location derived from the IP address (country, region, city). An identifier that changes daily groups the page views of one visit; the data is pseudonymous.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is improving the site based on how it is used. If "Do Not Track" is switched on, no measurement takes place. The data is deleted after 13 months, and from backups at most 14 days later.

Your rights

You have the right to

• access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
• rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) and erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
• object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).

An email to contact@ivoratec.de is enough. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

No automated decisions

I make no decisions based solely on automated processing (Art. 22 GDPR).
